Charitable contribution programs are an important part of Exxon Neftegas Limited’s (ENL) work as the Sakhalin-1 Operator. Every year, ENL implements dozens of grant-based projects to benefit people on Sakhalin and in local Khabarovsk Krai communities. The projects focus on finding solutions for social problems by investing funds from the Sakhalin-1 Consortium to improve people’s lives.
At the end of each year, ENL begins accepting applications for charitable grants for various social projects that will be implemented in the next calendar year. Applications are accepted through late November and all grant requests will be assessed on a competitive basis.
In 2018, many projects continued with support from ENL and we initiated new projects. Now, it’s time to make plans for the future and shape our 2019 Charitable Program. We are happy to support new ideas that will help people in our local communities.
Education, health care, environmental awareness, support to public organizations, and institutions of culture and sports are ENL’s priorities for the Corporate Charitable Program. We also place a special focus on supporting the traditions and cultures of the Indigenous Minority Peoples of the North.
In addition, ENL seeks projects that will bring benefits to as many people as possible, attract a wide range of participants, and are implemented in the areas where ENL operates to support our local communities. You can find more information about how to receive a grant from ENL by following this link or by contacting our Public and Government Affairs Department at 67-73-64.
