Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL), on behalf of the Sakhalin-1 International Consortium, hereby announces 2022 Community Projects’ Contest

Applications will be accepted from non-commercial organizations, as well as from state-owned and municipal institutions.

Geographical coverage for social projects applications includes the regions where Sakhalin-1 Project operates: Sakhalin Oblast (city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Nogliki and Okha Districts) and Khabarovsk Krai (city of Khabarovsk, Ulchi and Nikolayevsk Districts).

An Expert Council, comprised of the ENL community relations specialists and independent experts, will evaluate the projects submitted for the contest.

Project applications are expected to focus on the development of education, healthcare, sports, culture, environmental awareness, and support of Indigenous Minority Peoples of the North.

The projects will be funded as part of the contributions program by Sakhalin-1 international consortium, consisting of Russian Rosneft’s affiliates, Japanese SODECO, Indian ONGC Videsh, Ltd, and Sakhalin-1 Project operator Exxon Neftegas Limited.

From 1998 until present, Exxon Neftegas Limited supported the implementation of over 1,600 projects for the total amount over 1.5 billion roubles.

In 2020, 164 applications were submitted for the contest. The expert board reviewed, assessed and recommended 93 applications to be funded, including 54 from Sakhalin Oblast and 39 from Khabarovsk Krai.
