Exxon Neftegas Limited is accepting applications to Operations Technical department

Production Geophysicist Specialist

Candidates will conduct applied project work including post-imaging seismic data conditioning, log data analysis and rock physics modeling, velocity model building and domain conversion, forward seismic modeling and seismic inversion. Skills should include ability to:

  • Perform rock property analysis, seismic-to-well ties, forward seismic modeling, seismic attribute analysis, DHI analysis, seismic inversion, qualitative and quantitative seismic analysis and interpretation;
  • Construct velocity models for domain conversion from seismic- and well-derived data and calibrating velocity models to well control.

Petrophysicist/Formation Evaluation Specialist

Candidates will conduct applied project work with real well log, core and well test data, using a variety of software for petrophysical data processing and evaluation. Skills should include ability to:

  • Perform data quality preparation, pre-processing, data filtering, augmentation, environmental corrections, routine Logging While Drilling, wireline log data corrections and input to drill well, workover programs and completion design;
  • Coordinate Formation Evaluation program planning, procurement, execution, protocol development and QAQC of drilling, coring, logging at testing operations;
  • Perform petrophysical interpretation daily while drilling objective interval, communicate results and provide petrophysical support to geologic models and multi-well analyses.

Production Opportunity Generation and Optimization Geoscientist

Candidates are expected to integrate geoscience and reservoir engineering data. Opportunities occur at the wellbore, reservoir, asset, and acreage capture scales and can include: new acreage acquisition, field extension, infill and step-out drilling, recompletion and workovers, secondary or enhanced recovery methods and facility debottlenecking. Skills should include ability to:

  • Characterize subsurface scenarios - reservoir and compartment seismic mapping, integration of well log data to develop reservoir distribution, reservoir quality and trap definition scenarios:
  • Field/Asset Stewardship - placement of  drill well locations and sequence to optimize economic recovery potential and field development scenarios, evaluate post-drill results and quantify impact to development strategy and asset reserves
