Educational process transition to remote mode

In 2017, Technical Oil and Gas Institute of the Sakhalin State University, Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I. Goubkin and Exxon Neftegas Limited, representing Sakhalin-1 Consortium, signed a Cooperation Agreement. Every year professors from Moscow University visit Sakhalin students to deliver lectures and give hands-on trainings. The full course of study is divided into several modules. After the students complete the program and successfully pass the exams, they receive diplomas from one of the leading Russian higher education institutions.

Nowadays the Institute trains already the third enrollment of students. In total over 60 students enlisted in the program. In February 25 students visited Russian State Oil and Gas University for the first time to study in the Winter School!

This academic year the five program modules went as planned. As for the sixth one, it was decided to organize a remote mode learning due to COVID-19 outbreak in order to keep everybody safe and sound. Apart from distance learning, the rest of the program components, including exams and diplomas award, remain unaffected.
