Khabarovsk hosted regional technological festival Robofest that was held in late March

Further Education Modeling Center of the Khabarovsk Krai Ministry of Education and Science organizes the festival. The competition was held at IT-Cube Digital Education Center.

The festival brought together about 300 participants from 12 municipal districts of Khabarovsk Krai giving everyone an opportunity to show their robotics skills. The participants were children aged from 5 to 17. With the support from the Sakhalin-1 Consortium, schoolchildren from the most remote districts of Khabarovsk Krai (including Nikolayevsk and Ulchi Districts) were able to take part in the competition, and all the winners received prizes.

The competition was held over two days, both online and face to face.  During the festival tests, the children assembled and programed the models according to all the rules in a variety of categories: Hello, Robot! RoboCarusel, RoboFarmer, AeroNET, Robot in a Bag, RoboКreativ, and Brainstorming.

The Robofest audience were presented with collections from the World of Talking Machines museum and actual working robot models used in service by the RF Ministry of Emergency units, and others.
